Austin Industries is committed to the highest standards of ethical behavior and integrity. All employee-owners must follow our Code of Ethics, compliance policies (including, but not limited to, our Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy), and applicable Federal and state law in all activities and operations.
Austin relies on policies and standards set forth by our board of directors and company officers as the principal code of ethical conduct. Each year, Austin conducts training and testing with all employee-owners on company policies and ethical behavior. Moreover, our Compliance Team and Corporate Compliance officers keep up-to-date on Federal and State law to ensure our policies and practices remain current.
Austin’s Open Door Hotline allows employee-owners and business partners to report misconduct or violations anonymously (if desired). Open Door operators are available 24 hours a day, seven days per week to take calls and confidentially forward to Austin the information received. All reported complaints/concerns are investigated appropriately.
Austin complies with all applicable anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws and rules, including, but not limited to, the local laws of the countries in which we operate. We also actively self-monitor and audit our internal compliance with this policy and we expect our suppliers to fully comply with these laws and regulations.
Company culture should constantly reinforce an open, trusting environment where all events, whether positive or negative, are reported in the spirit of learning, not just catching someone making a mistake.
